Ethical governance is important to ensure that CITA's operations are in line with its strategic objectives and applicable Company policies. For CITA, the implementation of ethical governance is not only important to build trust between management and stakeholders, but also helps us survive and thrive through uncertainties and crises.

Human Rights

CITA is committed to providing a safe and conducive environment for our employees, visitors and customers. We ensure non-discrimination in all areas of our operations by guaranteeing the implementation of this commitment through Company policies. In addition, we strictly prohibit the employment of children and individuals under the age of 18.

We developed a Whistleblowing System Policy (WBS) to provide opportunities for all stakeholders and the public to monitor and submit reports or complaints through various channels. The implementation of WBS is a form of our commitment to respect human rights and the Company guarantees to always provide protection to whistleblowers.

Diversity

Within CITA, we are committed to enhancing our diversity and inclusion, as part of our culture to provide equal opportunities - for careers and aspirations - regardless of ethnicity, gender, religion, disability and age. We do not tolerate any form of discrimination, including in the recruitment and promotion process. In addition, we ensure that our employees are fairly compensated, taking into account their employment status, scope of work, qualifications, and so on.

Our operations employ significantly more men than women. This is because, in our industry, operational-level work is predominantly manual which is typically preferred by men. Moreover, women wishing to balance work and family commitments typically avoid operational jobs in remote locations that require extended time away from home. Despite these circumstances, we are committed to increase gender diversity in our operations.

Code of Conduct

CITA believes that the implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) is key to building long-term trust and a necessity in maintaining transparency and accountability of the Company's management to all stakeholders. We have developed a "Code of Conduct" consisting of business ethics and corporate values that help communicate various aspects of the Company's policies to stakeholders.

We strive to implement the Code consistently and achieve the following long-term goals:

  • For the Company - to drive the efficiency and effectiveness of the Company's operations and build a good reputation, which also contributes to long-term business success;

  • For Shareholders - to achieve the level of profit expected by Shareholders while taking into account the interests of the Company; and

  • For Company Management - creating a work environment that upholds the values of honesty, ethics and transparency, which will increase the productivity of the Board of Directors, Board of Commissioners and employees.
